In 2020 Tostitos discontinued their Hint of Jalapeño flavored chips. Most people got over this pretty quickly… But not Dan Reeve. He tweeted at Tostitos hundreds of times, demanding we bring back his favorite chips.

We decided to turn Dan into Hint of Jalapeño Man, a superhero who’s only power are super thumbs made for tweeting at Tostitos. We made a full-length comic book origin story using actual tweets from Dan and animated a short film version. We then had the internet help Hint of Jalapeño Man save the day (and the chips) by using their own thumbs to like his post.

Within 36 hours our post had reached it’s goal and the flavor was re-released for a limited time giveaway, proving that nothing unites the internet quite like jalapeño chips.
